These navigation systems connect to your Bluetooth-enabled phone to provide turn-by-turn directions, points-of-interest information and maps.

Motorola recently announced its T815 and T805 GPS receivers that work with your smartphone and cell phone respectively. The T815 and T509 can connect to any Bluetooth-enabled handset via Bluetooth 1.1 or the speedier Bluetooth 2.0. The receivers include the MOTONAV navigation service, which provides maps on your handset's screen and turn-by-turn directions that are delivered through your phone's speakerphone. MOTONAV also includes a points-of-interest data base that will help you find movie theaters, restaurants and hotels. Motorola bundles accessories, such as a visor clip, car power adaptor and cell phone mount for drivers.

The devices resemble old-school, round, portable CD players with control buttons and LED indicators on their face. The T815 is draped in a basic, matte black finish and seems a bit bulky, but Motorola claims that it's small enough to fit in a pocket for pedestrian use (we'll have to get our hands on a review unit to know for sure).
